- 200 grams Petit Pois.
- 200 grams Sweetcorn.
- 100 grams Pork, chicken or turkey mince.
- 1 tbsp Dark or light sky sauce.
- 1 tspCorn starch.
- 1 tbsp Chinese cooking wine.
- 1/2 tsp chicken powder.
- Salt.
- Sugar.
Step by step how to cook Chinese Style Sweetcorn and Peas. Simple yet delicious:
- Marinate the mince pork with dark or light soy sauce, Chinese cooking wine and corn starch for 10 minutes.
- Put two tbsp of oil into the wok and heat up. Add the peas and sweetcorn and fry for 2mins and then take out of the wok.
- Put 1tbsp of oil into the wok and heat up. Add the mince pork until it changes colour. Add the peas and sweetcorn. Fry for 1min and then switch off the heat. Finally stir in 1/2tsp salt, 1/2 tsp sugar and 1/2 tsp chicken powder. Add 1tbsp of light soy sauce to taste..
