- 500 grams Pork spare ribs (bone-in pork loins).
- 1 tbsp Olive oil (or vegetable oil).
- 1 dash Salt and pepper.
- 3 tbsp ☆ Soy sauce.
- 2 tbsp ☆ Sake.
- 1 tbsp ☆ Mirin.
- 200 ml ☆ Water.
- 100 ml ☆ Orange juice (or orange marmalade).
- 2 leaves ☆ Bay leaf (optional).
- 1 Coarsely ground black pepper.
Step by step how to cook Tender Pork Spare Ribs in the Pressure Cooker:
- Add oil to a frying pan, season the spare ribs with salt & pepper, and grill them in the frying pan until both sides are evenly browned..
- Transfer the spare ribs to the pressure cooker, and add the ☆ ingredients..
- Lock on the lid and turn on the heat. Once it comes to a boil and the weight starts to move, reduce the heat to low and simmer for 15 minutes (if your pressure cooker has a " high" or "low" pressure setting, use the "high" setting).
