Ingredients for Nigerian Suya:

  1. 1 medium Beef flank.
  2. 3 tablespoon Nigerian Suya spice..
  3. 1/4 cup Olive oil.
  4. Pinch Salt.
  5. 1 Scotch bonnet (optional).
  6. sticks Suya.
  7. 1/2 Chopped onion.
  8. 1 Sliced tomato.

Step by step how to cook Nigerian Suya:

  1. Wash and cut your beef flank into thin slices...
  2. Add in your Suya mix, salt and scotch bonnet...
  3. Add in your olive oil and combine together....
  4. Using your Suya sticks, align your beef properly, ensure its flattened...
  5. Add 1 table spoon of olive oil after placing them on your Suya Sticks and flip for side to side, make sure the oil touches both sides, and allow to rest for about 30mins...
  6. Oven roast at 375 degrees for 10 mins...
  7. After 10 mins, add more yaji and olive oil...
  8. Oven roast again for 25 mins at 360 degrees...
  9. After 25 mins, Cut into smaller sizes, add some chopped onion, sliced tomato, sprinkle some yaji and serve...
