Ingredients for Classic Ground Beef Stroganoff:
- 1 lb ground beef.
- to taste Salt, pepper.
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder.
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic poweder.
- 1/2 onion, diced.
- 8-10 oz mushrooms, sliced.
- 2 cloves garlic minced.
- 2 tablespoons butter, divided.
- 2 teaspoons flour.
- 1 1/2 cups beef broth.
- 10.5 oz can cream of mushroom soup.
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce.
- Pinch ground nutmeg.
- 1 cup sour cream.
- Cooked egg noodles (whole wheat are best).

- Cook ground beef, salt, pepper, onion powder and garlic powder in a skillet until no longer pink, drain set aside.
