Ingredients for Gobi Matar !!:

  1. 1 big cauliflower.
  2. 1 cup green peas.
  3. 1/2 tsp turmeric powder.
  4. 1/2 tsp jeera powder.
  5. 2 tsp coriander powder.
  6. 1 tsp red chilly powder.
  7. 1 sachet Maggi magic masala.
  8. 6-7 cloves garlic.
  9. 1 inch piece ginger finely chopped.
  10. 2 green chillies chopped.
  11. 2 tbspn Mustard oil.
  12. Coriander leaves for garnish.
  13. to taste Salt.

Step by step how to cook Gobi Matar !!:

  1. Firstly take the cauliflower and then cut into small florets. Then put in hot water for a few minutes with some salt so that the worms come out if any. Then wash again thoroughly and drain it..
  2. Take peas and put in water.
  3. Keep the other ingredients ready.
  4. Now heat a non stick Kadhai and put mustard oil. Heat it till smoking point and then turn off the gas..
  5. Now heat it again and put the chopped green chillies, ginger and garlic into the oil and sauté for a minute..
  6. Then put the dry masala powders and salt in it. Then add the green peas and then cauliflower. Mix well..
  7. Then cover it and let it cook on low flame for 5 to 7 minutes. In between open and stir it so that the vegetables cook evenly..
  8. When cooked turn off the gas. Garnish with coriander leaves..
  9. Serve hot with rotis..
