Ingredients for Gobi Matar !!:
- 1 big cauliflower.
- 1 cup green peas.
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder.
- 1/2 tsp jeera powder.
- 2 tsp coriander powder.
- 1 tsp red chilly powder.
- 1 sachet Maggi magic masala.
- 6-7 cloves garlic.
- 1 inch piece ginger finely chopped.
- 2 green chillies chopped.
- 2 tbspn Mustard oil.
- Coriander leaves for garnish.
- to taste Salt.
Step by step how to cook Gobi Matar !!:
- Firstly take the cauliflower and then cut into small florets. Then put in hot water for a few minutes with some salt so that the worms come out if any. Then wash again thoroughly and drain it..
- Take peas and put in water.
- Keep the other ingredients ready.
- Now heat a non stick Kadhai and put mustard oil. Heat it till smoking point and then turn off the gas..
- Now heat it again and put the chopped green chillies, ginger and garlic into the oil and sauté for a minute..
- Then put the dry masala powders and salt in it. Then add the green peas and then cauliflower. Mix well..
- Then cover it and let it cook on low flame for 5 to 7 minutes. In between open and stir it so that the vegetables cook evenly..
- When cooked turn off the gas. Garnish with coriander leaves..
- Serve hot with rotis..
