Ingredients for Petit Four:
- 1 1/2 cups Flour.
- 1 cup Sugar.
- 140 g Butter.
- 1/4 cup Vegetable oil.
- 2 eggs.
- 1/3 cup Milk.
- 2 tsp Baking powder.
- 1 tsp Vinegar.
- 1/2 tbsp Vanilla flavour.
- Food colour.
- Butter cream using icing sugar and butter.
- chocolate brown coffee.
Step by step how to cook Petit Four:
- Pre heat oven and coat pan. Cream sugar and butter. Gradually add your oil and mix. Sift flour and baking powder together. Add vinegar to milk to make buttermilk. Add vanilla flavour to buttermilk.
- Add an egg, fold, add flour, fold, add buttermilk and fold. Repeat at most 3 times..
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, check if skewer comes out clean cake is okay. Cool on rack.
- Share butter cream into four places. Add color to 3 and coffee and chocolate brown to the 4th. Mix well and using ice cream scoop, scoop when needed. Fill before using..
- Cut cake into bite sizes and colour base using butter cream or syrup. You can make sure all parts are well covered. Scoop your colored butter cream and place ontop. You can garnish top yet again..
