Ingredients for Chipotlé Steak Chili:
- 1 lb stew meat.
- 4 can tomato sauce.
- 1 can tomato paste.
- 2 large tomatoes.
- 2 each green bell peppers.
- 1 large sweet onion.
- 2 each chopped canned chipotlé.
- 3 clove minced garlic.
- 2 tbsp paprika.
- 2 tsp black pepper.
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh basil.
- 1 each lime, juiced and zest.
- 2 tsp chopped fresh cilantro.
- 1 salt/pepper to taste.
Step by step how to cook Chipotlé Steak Chili:
- brown stew meat over medium a high heat in large skillet, cook to medium.
- drain grease then add to crock pot or dutch oven.
- add tomatoes, green pepper, onion, garlic and chipotles.
- add tomato sauce and paste.
- stir everything together.
- cover and heat. Crock pot: high 2+ hours, low 4+hours. Stove top: low-medium 1-2 hours, stirring occasionally.
