Ingredients for Leftover Magic Cheelas:
- 1 cup Gram Flour / Besan.
- 1.5 cups leftover Fried Rice.
- 3/4 cups Semolina / Suji.
- 1/2 cup Capsicum, Tomatoes, Onions (leftover pizza topping).
- 3/4 Katori leftover Coconut Chutney.
- 2 tbsp chopped Fresh Coriander Leaves.
- 1 chopped Green Chilli.
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder.
- 1/2 tsp Amchoor Powder.
- 1/2 tsp Red Chilli Powder.
- to taste Salt.
- as required Water.
- as required Ghee.
Step by step how to cook Leftover Magic Cheelas:
- Add the fried rice, suji, besan & the chutney into a mixer jar, add water little by little and blend to get a flowing batter of medium consistency..
- Add salt to taste, the turmeric powder, green chillies, the veggies & the fresh coriander. Set aside for 10 mins..
- Heat a nonstick tava, spread 1-2 tsp oil pour a ladleful of the ready batter & spread into a circle..
- Allow it cook on low-medium heat for a minute, then sprinkle some amchoor and red chilli powder on top. Cook for another minute..
- Flip and cook from the other side, drizzle a little ghee from the sides..
- Cook on both sides until golden brown and crisp on top..
- Serve with ketchup or green chutney on the side..
