Ingredients for Papad Surprise:
- 4 small sized papad.
- 2 parboiled raw bananas.
- 1/2 cup coarsely crushed papad.
- 1 cup maida.
- 1 tbsp rice flour.
- 1/2 tsp black pepper.
- 1 tbsp pizza herbs.
- to taste Salt.
- As needed Oil for frying.
- As needed Tomato sauce.
- As required Coriander chutney.
Step by step how to cook Papad Surprise:
- Mix maida, rice flour, salt, black pepper and pizza herbs together. Add water and make a batter. Make sure the batter is not very flowy. Let it rest for 10 minutes..
- Heat oil in the kadai. Meanwhile cut the parboiled bananas lengthwise or in finger size..
- Dip the banana pieces in the batter and then roll them into the crushed papads. Repeat with all the banana pieces..
- Now start frying the ready pieces in the oil on low flame. Fry till the papad turns crispy brown colour..
- Finally for serving, arrange the semi fried papads in a row. Place the papad surprise on them. Serve with tomato sauce and coriander chutney in a syringe. Enjoy with jaljira shots..
